The Diagnostic Clinic provides comprehensive testing services, including:
- Pediatric Developmental Evaluations (diagnostic assessment for developmental delays in children from 12 months to 5 years)
- Developmental Progress Evaluations (assesses a child’s progress over time as a follow up assessment [after 1 to 2 years] to evaluate a child’s response to intervention)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder, specifically utilizing the gold standard of Autism assessment, the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)
- Behavioral Difficulties, including defiant behavior and conduct problems
- Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Pre-Adoption Evaluations and Home Studies
- Learning Disabilities and Differences
- Intelligence or Achievement Testing

At the Diagnostic Clinic an individualized testing plan is designed by the specialist based on the unique needs of the person and reason for assessment. The assessment, scoring, interpretation and write-up are completed within 2 weeks of testing. Parents or adults will receive feedback of testing results in the form of a face-to-face one-hour session. Feedback may also be provided to school or appropriate others when requested. The final comprehensive written report, detailing the results of the assessment and recommendations for further action, will be released during the feedback session.

The Autism Spectrum Clinic employs staff with extensive experience in helping children and families understand, treat and learn from their special challenges and strengths. A variety of evidenced-based services are available to families struggling with a new diagnosis of Asperger's, working with school personnel to have their child educated the best way possible, and those children needing a place to bring up difficult topics and feel safe doing so. All services are tailored to the individual family and include support-style groups, individual sessions and family/parenting work as needed in Jupiter FL and surrounding areas.

Anxiety
The Anxiety Clinic at Palm Beach Behavioral Health and Wellness was developed in order to provide specialized services for individuals who may need assistance managing their anxiety and the impact of anxiety on their daily lives. Everyone experiences anxiety; however, it becomes a problem when it begins to impact and interfere in one′s daily life. As much as anxiety is individualized, so is the treatment. A clinician will address each individual's specific difficulties and needs to determine an appropriate diagnosis and treatment options. Working through anxiety can be a frightening and frustrating process, therefore our treatment team places great emphasis on providing a warm and motivating environment for individual growth.

Trauma Clinic
The Trauma Clinic at Palm Beach Behavioral Health and Wellness brings an integrated approach to individuals with any kind of traumatic experience through expertise in the trauma community and development of a strong therapeutic relationship. Trauma can manifest from grief and loss, adjustments and changes in the family structure, sexual, emotional, behavioral, or verbal assault and abuse, medical complications, disaster, attachment, identity concerns, or chronic mental health problems. However, it can be very personal to the individual and PBBHW will help each person understand their specific presentation and ways to heal. Becoming a survivor is an important part of healing and clinicians at PBBHW will help individuals learn to cross that line into a healthy way of coping.
