Jillian Brown is a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescence and adults. She truly enjoys the unique needs required of each age group.
Jillian utilizes a holistic approach by incorporating social, emotional, & physical care. She believes movement is beneficial for the brain and body and integrates that when possible. Additionally, she incorporates“hands-on”activities to help acclimate children to the therapeutic setting. She is trauma-informed and solution focused. Jillian is knowledgeable in identifying mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression among others, and developing individualized treatment plans.
While working in the Womens’ Healthcare field, she earned a certificate from “Postpartum Support International” focusing on Perinatal & Postpartum mental health. She has a wealth of experience & knowledge related to hormones, birth methods and finds helping new Mothers/families make a life-changing transition to be very rewarding.
Jillian grew up in Illinois and that is where she earned her Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree both in Social Work at Aurora University. While in Illinois, her training included crisis work as well as working in an adult and adolescent mental health hospital. She also spent 6 years working in the school system as a School Social Worker and is very familiar with the IEP & 504 processes.
