Doctor Patty Russo is a postdoctoral resident at Palm Beach Behavioral Health and Wellness. Dr. Russo has experience working with children, adolescents, and families in multidisciplinary settings providing therapy and assessment. Her experiences include a residential treatment program for youth, outpatient family, individual and group therapy, and therapy with adults in a community mental health center. Additionally she provides parenting groups and community presentations. Dr. Russo has worked with a variety of presenting problems including behavioral difficulties at home and school, self-esteem concerns, family conflict, peer troubles, healthy dating, depression, grief, and experience of trauma. Dr. Russo takes on a family approach to therapy with emphasis placed on creating a safe and understanding environment to strengthen resiliency and build positive relationships and open communication.
Dr. Russo received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She continued her education at Albizu University in Miami, Florida where she earned her Master of Science and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychology.
