Raquel Anderson

Dr. Raquel Anderson, EdD, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents and families. Dr. Anderson is a contributing author and has been an adjunct professor teaching graduate level courses at Palm Beach Atlantic University in the Counselor Education Department.

Specializing in adolescents and emerging adults, Dr. Anderson helps individuals navigate the many challenges transitioning from adolescence to young adulthood. Dr. Anderson is passionate about family wellness and strives to support families through many stages and struggles. As a Qualified Parent Coordinator and Certified Florida Supreme Court Family
Mediator, she is equipped to work with high conflict families helping to improve communication and resolve disputes.

Dr. Anderson graduated from the Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology. She went on to earn a Master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University in Mental Health Counseling and graduated from Argosy University with a doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. Additionally, Dr. Anderson is an Approved Supervisor for Registered Interns in the State of Florida as they work toward licensure.
