Dr. Gretchen Quattlebaum, PsyD is a Florida Licensed Psychologist at Palm Beach Behavioral Health and Wellness. She conducts individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults presenting with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, complex trauma, and relational issues. She also offers psychological assessments for teens and adults for presentations including ADHD, mood disorders, learning disorders, developmental concerns, academic assessments for accommodations and standardized testing, and general diagnostic clarification.
Dr. Quattlebaum practices an integrative model of therapy, where she combines psychodynamic, humanistic/existential, and family systems theories. She focuses on symptom reduction, gaining insight, processing events, and making meaning of personal experiences. Dr. Quattlebaum believes the therapeutic relationship is at the core of change and healing, and she strives to foster a safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive space.
Dr. Quattlebaum graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Psychology and Advertising. She earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University in Chicago. Lastly, she has experience working in private practice, community mental health, and college counseling (undergraduate and law school).
